    Never used it myself just remember the was a lengthy discussion elsewhere, I think Jim's site, several years back with a few brewers trying to replicate this beer. Getting the right yeast and water profile made the difference. I have always found Brewlabs to be very helpful if you want to look...

    Brelwlabs Sussex yeast is reputed to be the Harveys strain and I would say that you should start from there.

    Woops sorry it doesn't. I have the grain coat so not seen the actual unit unclothed for a while and never move it. I was convinced it had handles. Put it down to my age.

    I find Landlord is one clone you can get very close to the real thing if you use Wyeast 1469 West Yorkshire yeast, reputed to be derived from Taylors yeast, and get your water ratio chloride forward.
