The Malt Miller- EDIT "NOW MOVED"

I prefer to be more transparent, charging the least I can for the products. That way everyone gets the best deal. I will be doing more special offers though and am about to have a big hop sale. Rob

Many thanks for all your comments and support, we are now moved. A few updates:- We have changed our courier to DPD, they will now handle all deliveries above 600g. They are, in our experience, the best courier there is, as they will text or email the recipient and give a 1 hour window as to...

The Malt Miller- EDIT "NOW MOVED"

Hi, Very pleased to say that we are moving the whole business to new premises in Swindon on Friday November 1st. It will make the day to day running and organising much easier and will be very local to where I live saving me about an hours driving every day. It will also make our planned...

What EBC is your Amber malt, if it's the roasty one from Fawcetts then I would be happy using more but not if its one of the 50EBC ones. Rob

    Dingemans pale malt.

Hi Dennis Crisp M/O will be back in on Thursday. However, that Dingemans pale is the business, you can tell from the first sniff of the malt it's got a far more bready nature to it that carries on into the finished beer. You pays your money..... Rob

New to AG, using up ingredients, look ok?

I would calm the IBU's down a little with those hops, perhaps 40ish IBU. That will leave some hops left over for dry hopping. For the yeast I would use something to let the hops shine so probably US-05 or Bry97. The leftfield part of me would say pitch a saison yeast. I recently made a IPA and...

    Dingemans Special B malt.

I brewed:- 5% Aromatic 5% Biscuit 5% Special B 85% pale Used loads of EKG late and also dry hop and fermented with WLP004 Irish ale yeast. It was a full on monster but I loved it. Also using a lot of late hops really helped with the head retention which worked well with the (er individual)...

Evening, Must say that I was completely unaware of any issue till I logged in tonight. By my own admission it is possible for me to miss an email especially when I am away travelling but I am sure I pretty much kept up. I left for Berlin on Thursday and we also had a member of staff off on...

    Serving "through" hops?

It was a really fun experiment, a couple of things. We used columbus and they were particularly dusty so the hop hit was massive. If you served the beer immediately it was bearable, and I love hops. However, if the beer sat in the hops for any period it became undrinkable. We had two pints of...
