I’ve been working on recipes to try and get the most out of ekuanot hops. I’ve done a few beers and it’s never quite worked or the flavour/aroma profile hasn’t been what I wanted. So this is another revision (no4) to see if I’ve got it to work. Or at least how I want it to.

As I’ve been hard at it all day filling a skip with rubble and all while managing a brew day it’s time for a beer. Best I get on the DIPA train with @dave_77 and have some of my own DIPA. a close second to Dan’s by 2 pts.

Mine was kegged on Sunday and is tasting pretty good so far....... I had to give it a trial before sitting until bottling a few off for the comp. Not sure when we will be letting the proverbial ingredient “cat” out of the bag tho.

That temp might be a bit cold for it to actually get going. I’ve always done room temp 20ish degrees. Duration I think your looking at 3-4 weeks min. Great news on the ingredient source 👍🏻

There is defo an irony in the name of that second beer from them. That’s such a shame as that shouldn’t happen. They should be recalling all of those.
