    Cycle Helmets. [POLL]

You can't prevent every accident, a helmet is designed to protect from a knock on the head which can easily happen. That's not necessarily the cause of injury for many cyclist accident. It added me from between a proper headache or much worse. We'll. Ever know which as I had a lid on...

    Cycle Helmets. [POLL]

I always wear one on the road. The only time i don't is if it's a slow ride along the cycle path with the kids (who wear theirs). I think one of the reasons it should be compulsory is what youd have to deal with if you were involved in an accident (whoever was at fault) and the other person...

Free chest freezer South West Wales

If anyone wants a medium chest freezer for a Keezer build my parents are getting rid of one. There just outside Carmarthen SA32. It's quite old and could do with a good clean and coat of paint but should hold 4 or 5 corny's. Free to a good home but happy to accept a home brew donation. Sent...

    Easy Keg 5L

The last one I did was nibble it with side cutters and managed to twist it out with pliers, took about 5 min. Replaced with some old rubber ones I've got from older kegs that went rusty as just use with built in tap so can vent pressure Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

    Sterilising bottles

Can anyone recommend a decent bottle brush? I've bought a couple over the years but none clean the bottom of the bottles properly when there is some stuck on yeast. Note I always give the bottles a good rinse after pouring and tried various cleaners. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

Ace Boiler packed in? Thinking of a Grainfather

Hi, I bought one off them a few weeks ago and went for the tallicherry Saison which I brewed Sunday. When I ordered they had 5% off plus the 5% forum discount. The cleaner included was the proper grainfather one too. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

    New to home brewing.

As others I'd suggest getting a kit and a plastic bucket and get it on the go while your new kit is coming. If you like a wheat beer the Wilco one is not bad (I made one to fill a gap). The bucket will come in handy in the future for washing bottles or batch priming etc. Sent from my SM-G930F...

Corny kegs liquid disconnect not connecting

Where did you get them from? I have a few different makes but the posts should be different for gas/beer. Sounds like you may have 2 gas posts. Maybe post a picture and I'm sure someone will have some advice. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

Elderflower champagne - when to bottle?

I followed a river cottage recipe off the C4 website about 8 years ago (they corrected it after). It had too much sugar and pushed the seals out of the grolsch bottles and sprayed the utility ceiling. It was good after a few years tho if a little strong. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

Not all wagon drivers are idiots.

A few weeks ago I was on the A34 South of Oxford towing our trailer tent. At the bottom of a steep hill at a little more than I should have been doing an artic with a gas tank container unit overtook me, he must have been doing over 70 but then started to loose speed at the bottom, I braked to...

    Half Price Brand New Grainfather

We'll see tomorrow. I very much doubt that's their buying price as internet companies would have a much lower selling price. That would be a massive mark up. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
