Lots of Grolsch Bottles, but how to clean them?

A cheapo steam cleaner can be very useful, but if not then a really good soak and a good go with a bottle brush should sort it. Make sure you replace the rubber seals, they are only cheap and easily replaced.

    Wherry Comparison

A good way to tinker with kits is to get a one can kit and steep some grains or do a mini mash and boil some hops for aroma, it doesnt take that long and you wont need alot of equiptment, you will have a pan big enough in your kitchen already. Its a good way of getting used to mashing and...

    Coopers Australian Pale Ale

Did a mini mash with this last week, mashed 2.5k of marris otter and about 175g of crystal 80. Then did a little boil and added 15g of styrian goldings at 10 mins. Added the kit and topped up with cold water. Its ready to keg in the next few days but my keg fridge is full so will post back here...

    Coopers IPA review

The co2 may have been dissolved into the beer which would give you a carbonated beer but less pressure, easly fixed with a blast of co2 though.

    My first brew

They suggest that temp because the yeast will work quickly at that temp and finish within the time the can says, its better to brew at around 18-20 and let the yeasties take their time, leaving it in the fv for around ten days will help too

Three weeks in FV and it's still going!!

maybe the yeast is struggling to deal with the large amount sugar? I might be wrong but maybe the yeast doesnt work as well with high gravity brews

First Brew - Coopers Stout Kit

You generally use 2 per 750ml, if you want you could crack them open and add another one.

    Double batch with second runnings

Ive been thinking of doing a double batch with one grain bill by doing a second mash/runnings. Ive seen a video of somebody doing this with an imperial stout with over 8kg of grain and then using the same grain bill for a second batch that came out as a normal strength stout. I was thinking i...

    Wherry question

dont boil them for an hour, just boil them for 10 mins to give some freshness back to the kit, itll just help the aroma and not add to bitterness that way.
