Why not use the Muntons premium gold yeast ,rather than find something similar ?

Any idea when this might be ,and how much ?

I do as above , but a few days before bottling i give then a soak in a solution of VPW , rinse and they are ready to go . You would be very surprised with the colour of the water when you finish .

I sold my Klarstein Maishfest and bought a 40l Darkfarm brew vessel , i am very ,very pleased with it and i will never need to change it for anything else .

I find VWP great , cleans and sterilises and it is very reasonably priced .

Here is my outdoor set up with the Darkfarm 40L brew vessel ,

I brewed 26l of milk stout today , just the grain bill smelt lovely :)

I have also had mine about twelve months now and i am very happy with it,still learning but last brew i did i got nearly eighty percent efficiency .Do you recirculate throughout the mash or only when the element kicks back in ? Has the Rapt controller made a big difference ?
