I am not going to cherry pick and I understand & agree with 1 & 2. The rest can be resolved & modified away easily either with process or engineering and time reduced drastically.

My apologies in advance I am biased 😁 and no offence is meant.

It is good to hear your views comparing a GF40 thankyou. Every day is a school day here 😁
Well, yes the rest can still be "modified" away (that's why I described them as minor issues) but if 1 and 2 are the primary reasons then they will still remain after any such "mods".

What you need is has a lower pumped tap. (like mine 😂)

The bac disk, is the same as turning the original over. (Ditto)

You forgot to mention the bac mash paddle. I have the prototype, published long before theirs 😉

I said I want going to cherry pick. Look what you made me do 🙄🙄
Got any photos of your lower pumped tap?

👍🏻👍🏻At the end of the day, its personal choice. And I should know, the way I brew is very radical and I know of only one other member who is similar.

You gotta chase the grin

I upsized from robobrew 3 to a guten 70 to make it easier for bigger beers and the odd double batch.
Then fitted whirlpool instead of tap controlled via a 3 way tap on the recirculation pipe.
Swapped the controller out for a smart pid control unit. Great piece of kit.
Use a counterflow chiller on the whirlpool loop and sometimes a hop rocket.
No bazooka or bottom screen but made a copy of the trub trapper to catch the hops and break.
Panel beater friend contoured the lid to be domed and cut a window that seals up for viewing and additions and I use a condenser I made.
Insulated the space below the element.
Otherwise it's pretty much off the shelf specification!!
