    Going gas, ball valve placement?

    Evening all, One thing that is worrying me about going gas is the heat wash around the outside of the copper. Do I need to mount the ball valve a bit higher or should I not worry? cheers, John

    Burner for 100L pot

    Did a small test today. the burner in conjunction with the 0.5-2 bar reg got 30L of tap water (12c) to boiling in about 26mins, outside, in the wind.... So in the brewshed out of the wind it should a bit quicker (yes there is enough ventilation in there). Just waiting for the beer belly...

    Pot has arrived from Nordic, 4 days, not bad. Picking up a 19kg propane bottle on saturday morning, have a supplier 100m from my front door :-) nearly there..
