    Shiny Happy Brewing.

Yeah, mine is starting to get a lot of scratches. I mentioned this to a Chef mate of mine and he said that's normal. He said that when they are new all SS look really shiny. After a few years of cleaning with wire wool, you don't notice the scratches any more..... Ollie

    Shiny Happy Brewing.

Hi PJ, You can't see from the video, but there are 3 pumps. 1 Totton and 2 solar pumps. The Mash Tun is open the whole time, so no need to cut open the lid. The RIMS ensures constant temperature. Once the the HLT is up to strike temp, then we open up the valves to allow the Totton to pump...

    Could I ask a favour

Really liked the scenes around the castle, nice and atmospheric. Liked the long shot of the guitar with the castle in the background. Gives a feeling of lonely solitude. However, when it cuts to the indoor scenes, the videography style changes and almost has a home movie quality feel to it...

    Is this for real?

According to their website. "Mashing starts and is controlled automatically by the machine controller of the BrauEule. Stirring is done through bubbles. " So this would explain why the mash looks like it's boiling. However, why would you need to stir the mash? Ollie

    c02 question

HSE safe use of gas cylinders The main thing is to make sure it is secured so it can't fall over and damage the valve. If that happens then it turns into a CO2 propelled rocket. Ollie

    SS conical fermenter

Got a quote back from Willis. 50 litre £ 580.00 65 litre £ 625.00 That is including VAT. However, he quoted me £75 for delivery to Hertfordshire. I'm tempted by the 65 litre. It's the same price as the Blichmann 50 litre. I'd be collecting it though at the cost of that...

    Shiny Happy Brewing.

First off, a big thanks to all the folks on this forum who I stolen my ideas from. :) This brewery is based mostly on Vossy's Nordic build. It's not quite finished yet, but is any brewery every finished. There's always something that can be upgraded. Enjoy the Linky. Ollie

    SS conical fermenter

To finish off my SS setup I'm looking at a conical fermenter. The Blichmann conical from Hop and Grape is going for £624, which is nice but I am having trouble justifying the price. I'm come across a place in China that does similar. Linky Does anyone have any experience of these fermenters...
