    removing old labels

It all depends on the bottles, some just float off after a few minutes in hot water, others use wd40 to get the glue residue off. For me the easiest way is chuck them in the bath and fill it full of hot water, give it an hour or so and what's left on the bottles comes off with a quick scour...

Busy brew day, I'm knackered :/

So, I have a full day off from work and all I have done is trawl over the the LHBS, Wilkes and round tesco to see what goodies they had. Since getting home I have been so busy I only just realised that it's half 9  Anyway here's the bit you might care about. I currently have 2 kilo of...

    Sanitizer Question

Yeah it is just a chlorine powder. Didnt know if there was a difference between home brew and normal. We use this at work for getting stains off of stainless steel. I'd rather use this up as its free before investing in starsan

Do you return your own glass?

I always return my glass, and others if they are done (or I want to move on ;) I know most of the managers around town being in the trade and I will go further than just taking my glasses back, I will clear other tables, sweep up broken glass. Throw the odd trouble causer out etc etc. Although...

Well here's my finished(ish) wash, verdict of flavours

Might seem weird Moley but it's definately the best one. The Champagne flavouring doesnt taste like champagne but its not far off. No tart pallette and slightly sweet. I'm sure you could give it a go ;)

Now I know it may be a stupid question but...... Do you think it would be possible to use a fresh water fish tank filter rather than using a bucket and white pipe? Just want people's views
