Got myself a C02 cylinder today. Screwed it on the valve and snapped the pin off the valve which is now stuck in the cylinder!!!!!!! :evil: :evil: :evil: Any helpful suggestions? :hmm:

Hi all I seem to have lost the homebrew in my barrel. Will it be because I didnt gas it? It seems flat and bitter.

Hi all, and a Happy New Year to you. I have acquired two 25l plastic barrel / drums which have previously had car wash soap and screen wash in. If i rinse and sterilize them well can i use them as fermentation vessels? They have a screw cap which could be adapted to put an airlock on. Cheers Craig

I dont think so. It looks as if some jelly had got in the bottle, ten or so bits. Gave it a good shake and its gone.

It looked really well in the bottle after racking and filtering. However I chilled a bottle the other day and it went a little cloudy. I read this is normal-ish. I have just poured a glass to find something floating around in the wine. It didnt make it into the glass and I gave the bottle a...
