    30ltr HDPE Blue Drums £10

Erm, really not sure I understand your question? Do you mean how long could you leave a brew in one of the drums? If so I have used them for lagering and kept it in their for over three months before bottling. I do flush them with Co2 and minimise any dead space. Edit. Just re read your...

    30ltr HDPE Blue Drums £10

I have several of these for sale as I didn't need them after all. They were originally used to ship syrup and were very easy to clean with no remaining odours. They hold around 30 litres and have clamp seal lids. £10 each plus postage.

Is there a London home brew shop?

Not really London but there is one in Hornchurch. It's only a chemist shop with some bits and bobs though; some grain, hops and FVs etc but very expensive. Sells a lot of kits, both beer and wine IIRC.

    Little bottler

Agreed! I use the spring loaded type and they are a godsend. I'm currently assembling a twin filler using two of these; so I can speed up my bottling a little. :D

    Sight tubes

I bought some tube from these guys and have to say that the service they offer is first class. I ordered a 15mm OD tube but they sent a 15mm ID by mistake. When I told them they sent out the correct tube the next day and told me to keep the first one too! Mistakes happen but when put right...

Thanks for the replies chaps. I had a funny feeling I wouldn't be able to do it. I shall just keep my eye out for a larder fridge.

Fridge Feezer; can they be split?

Hi Aleman, That sounds like what I want to do. I have never controlled temperture during the ferment before; usually I stop brewing around this time of year. :( I want to brew all year round now so need some temp control. I could just go for a a fridge and a freezer (I want to have a crack...

Fridge Feezer; can they be split?

Not sure if this has been asked before but... If I were to get a large fridge freezer (the type with two equal sized units but with only one plug), could it be doctored so that I could control each unit independently? I don’t mean physically separate them but using something like a pair of...
