Was it named after John Wayne?
My favorite brewpub is Mad Anthony brewing.Fort Wayne, Indiana is named after General "Mad" Anthony Wayne, the city was founded in 1794 by Captain Jean François Hamtramck, who named it after the general
And several really good brewpubs.Sounds like a great place to live... Affordable, nice housing plus vibrant arts scene.
Is everything in and to do with America completely Barking, or is that reserved for Essex?Fort Wayne, Indiana is named after General "Mad" Anthony Wayne, the city was founded in 1794 by Captain Jean François Hamtramck, who named it after the general
Plenty of that here. We pass through a major wetlands on our way to my wife's doctor appointments. For me countryside nature and peace wins every time
Closest homebrew shop is 70 miles away, although there is a hardware store closer that has a small selection. What are the breweries and homebrew shops like?
There's also a cidery in town and 3 or 4 brewpubs within a 30 minute or less drive.Closest homebrew shop is 70 miles away, although there is a hardware store closer that has a small selection.View attachment 108261
It varies quite a bit. Unfortunately it's only so-so in Fort Wayne. Is it a good idea to drive to Brewpub?
Downside of US is that public transport is often non existent, or at least that is my impression - what is public transport like in Fort Wayne?
Yeah, realise it is a big generation and the thing us Brits find it hard to get our heads around is the scale of the US. Would love to go to Portland. Boston is my favourite of the US cities I've been to.It varies quite a bit. Unfortunately it's only so-so in Fort Wayne.
When we lived in Portland, Oregon it was fantastic. We lived without a car for over three years.
