Zlato-Slovenian Golden ale

I'm going to use the Aurora and Styrian Goldings hops with some pale malt to create a decent golden ale that I'll keep in the bottle until the weather improves.
Got a yeast starter from the Hog's Back brewery...roll on Saturday!

I have used Wolf for bittering, and Aurora for aroma. Won't know for sure until it's ready to imbibe......

I'm going for floral golden ale over hoppy IPA, a tricky style to mimic

Malt: Pale 4.6kg
Black 33g

Hops: Wolf 15g @ 60mins

Aurora and Styrian Goldings 60g last 5 mins

Styrian Cascade 10g @ flameout

It feels weird using pellets again, I'm used to seeing some flowers floating around. Smells magnificent

A review of the ingredients provided by GEB:

First off: customer service is excellent and I felt very well looked after by them when processing my order.

The hops are lovely and smell really good. My only complaint is not the fault of anyone in particular: my hop filter got completely clogged and it made the final part of the process very difficult as I had to keep scraping the filter with the wort chiller to get the debris off of it. I usually use hop flowers so this might be nature's way of telling me to build a hop spider! Still, the beer smells good and fingers crossed all will be well.

This is still chugging away and the fermentation is one of the most vigorous I've ever seen! The quality of this yeast is what makes me feel really hopeful for this beer...
