A few people have posted their results on the test but nobody has really stated how they would describe their own politics.
As I said at the get-go, I'm "a social liberal, a fiscal conservative and a civic nationalist" and after watching this video, I would have to accept the moniker "Far right", which is why I was mildly surprised to see that I was still showing as (barely) left of centre - but don't worry, it's not what you think.

For what it is worth, I just about managed to crawl away from the middle, scoring a vaguely intolerant +2 on R to L - the political leaning that used to be occupied by the "Liberal" party back in the day …..1970 / 80;s probably - just before Maggie.
And a +1 on Authoritarian. Don't recall either of us ever hitting either daughter, or feeling the need to, ever., some odd questions in there These days it would be jolly unwise. As for telling anyone else what to do - well that just does not happen in this society. And especially in "my" house.

I'm proud to announce that I came in with a "dot" right alongside one of my heroes, Mahatma Gandhi, :thumb:

However, it was also very near to the person who my brother-in-law describes as "The Poison Dwarf"; Nicola Sturgeon. So I will have to step carefully on my next visit up to Scotland! :laugh8:

:gulp:

this test is broken. i know that i scored 100 percent correct, however all i got was some point on a chart. please amend accordingly.

to be fair i stopped the test partly because most of my truthful answers would be 'yes and no'.
i think the problem for thinking types such as myself (ahem, hmm) is all these statements are devoid of any sensible level of framing to make them meaningful. i get that they are set up to trigger ones 'type' reaction but because of this they become nonsense, much like the political discourse of the day. the problem is that to make any sense of things like the economy or immigration you need to go so far down series of effects and results and effects becoming new causes that it doesn't boil down to a good five minute segment on the rolling news or loud spouting off in a bar and so you get these idiotic statements like immigrants will take our jobs, or we need to lock up offenders etc.
the other reason i stopped is because i realised the men in the black helicopter overhead were profiling me.. just smile to the camera, nothing to see nothing to see

I'll get my coat.

To be fair I think we all know that these kinds of thing on the internet are pure rubbish. Given that it's probably devised in the USA it's likely that Maggie Thatcher would be somewhere down in the left corner as well, as Americans would probably consider her a rampant socialist.

Actually more Americans voted for Clinton than Trump. Clinton being the very epitome of the neo-liberal totalitarian globalist regime.

Somebody didn't read the FAQ.

As for Maggie..

It would be useful to have a neither agree or disagree option on some of these questions.
A few of the questions were a little “ambiguous” or unclear, or a “yes” answer could put you at either end of the scale depending on your motive, IMO.
