+1 for Alan's Home Brew in Ormesby. I think I've said elsewhere that I wouldn't buy my main stocks of malt or hops from there but for equipment and daft stuff you have forgotten to get from your main dealer of choice, it is simply excellent.

Having said that, I always buy my styrians from that shop. Don't know why, but they are always top quality and better than anywhere else I have found.

I like young's definitive, good additions include rosemary, honey, black treacle and of course malt extract.

i'll be adding rosemary and ginger to mine as i want to try 'ginger pig' but can't locate any locally
