Youngs Cabernet Saivignon 30 bottle kit.

One of these dropped into my Tesco Direct delivery by mistake and for free - thanks Mr Tesco!!
Not done a wine yet, is this any good?
Is there a better sugar to use i.e brewing sugar or bog standard granulated sugar?
Are the kit instructions as flaky as the beer kit instructions?

I assume this is a Winebuddy kit. The cab sauv is unimpressive and brewing sugar wont improve it. However, if you add water to 21 litres, rather than 23, and throw in a handful of dried elderberries, you will get a better result, but don't expect it to taste like the real thing!

Ye those youngs wine kits are vile. had the merlot awhile back absolute ****.
