Yeast from America

Hi all I hope this is in the right form, I have a mate that is going to America for a months. holiday. He is also into brewing beer is there any good yeast that we could buy that is good for beer that comes from America and hard to get in this country ,and can he bring it into the country :

Nothing in US isn't available here. The two biggest yeast suppliers in the UK are from the US.

Might be cheaper, but that's the only benefit.
