Xbox expert req!

Hello all
Youngest son having Xbox one issues...end of the world...
Here's the problems...
Switches on,takes a while to load home screen,can't log in,tries then stops. Gives the code for taking too long to load. Can log on via brothers Xbox and his account is fine.
Done ..
Hard reset,soft reset,unplugged everything,changed hdmi leads/sockets,reset internet,standing on my head.
His brothers works ok.
New TV for Xmas but it's all been fine from the off..switched on this morning,worked ok for half hour then switched off,froze.

Any ideas?

Cheers chippy ..had quick look but it's not game specific..he can't start a game or even sign in..but can on his brothers machine. He did get a new 2tb external HD but he says that was all working ok,it's a green Xbox type. I unplugged this while trying to fix stuff....
I'll get him to read the post as it's mostly gobbledegook to me!

I noticed that Clint after i posted it so pulled the link, maybe get them to join an Xbox forum and see if they can get some advice i imagine it will have happened to many owners.

Thanks Chip,I found a YouTube that possibily may help where the issue is with the controller needing a reset with the three buttons on it ...will try very much later

Is the new Xbox connected to your WiFi?

He's not logged in on another device? I'd imagine they would restrict dual logins.

Left it off for 12 hours or so,was going to do the three button thing but son decided to try soft reset again....which worked!
Phew! Panic over!
