Wurzel question

SWMBO has asked me to take away the "Melon" taste from the Wurzel.

Any idea's?

What "Melon" taste? None of mine has ever tasted of melon.
Standard recipe?

My good lady says it tastes (and smells) of banana. It does - a wee bit, anyway.
