I have done 4 red 5 gallon kits, they have all been very nice. Both beaverdale and CC in the £39 range..

Is it worth paying the extra £7 for the Kenridge classic, or even £11 for vintners reserve?

I got the KC Merlo and have done the beaverdale merlot (that was nice immediately) so will do a (from memory coz I drunk it all) comparison.

Just finished the KC Pinot Noir. When bottling it tasted very tart, however 3 days later it is perfect. It tastes just like red wine from the shop.
I've not done any of the cheaper kits, now I'm scared they won't be as good as the KC ones.
