Mo Salad the best footballer in the world, he doesn't get into most sites top 10.

I looked around a few top 10 sites and Sadio Mane was mentioned in a few as was Sterling but these seem to crop up most -

  1. Lionel Messi — FC Barcelona. Getty/Tim Clayton.
  2. Neymar — Paris Saint Germain. ...
  3. N'Golo Kante — Chelsea FC. ...
  4. Virgil Van Dijk — Liverpool FC. ...
  5. Kevin De Bruyne — Manchester City. ...
  6. Kylian Mbappe — Paris Saint Germain. ...
  7. Paul Pogba — Manchester United. ...
  8. Eden Hazard — Real Madrid. ...

If he goes to city all it will do is turn into a messi circus, besides who in their right mind would pay 500 million +wages for a 33 year old athumb..

Its an obscene amount of money and i don't believe we will pay it -

There have been dark whispers that they will not budge from their current position, even if it meant Messi having to stump up the £630million release fee himself, but that would be a PR disaster – and the idea that the player would be forced to stay for another year against his wishes would be bad for all concerned.

They have to agree to Messi’s request for a meeting for the same reasons, and they are sure to make one final bid to change his mind.

If that fails, the transfer machine will crank into action and they will start talking to City – and any other interested clubs – with a view to driving up the fee as high as possible.

At that point City will hold the aces, as they are sure Messi wants a reunion with Guardiola and sees the Blues as the best bet to give him a glorious end to his European career.

The stand out on that list is Kylian Mbappe

The one that had me shaking my head was Paul Pogba and before the united fans give me grief we wanted him and you got him so i am not saying he is a crap player, i would have him at city tomorrow but top 10 in the world today no way.

I can't see it happening. He won't last 5 minutes in the Premier League, with so many average players hacking him down as he tries to go past them. Plus the cold weather in winter... well all year round in the North West really!
If he does decide to make the journey, the amount of red cards shown will beat all previous records! :laugh8:

If he signs for City he will be sold to their New York club in his final year for £100m to balance the books

City can have him and they'll be adding an ageing player to an ageing team. Pep will get sacked by Christmas and United will win the league.

United will win the league.

Thats the funnies thing i have read today, i doubt we will beat Liverpool this season Arsenal are stronger Chelsea are always there then there's United who finished 33 points behind Liverpool and 15 points behind City and who finished on the same points as Chelsea, miricles happen (Leicester winning the PL) but i cannot see United winning the PL this season.

Time will tell as we all know football is a funny old game.

Surely Juventus need to break the bank to get him paired up with Ronaldo. That would even make me watch Italian football. The last chance there will ever be to have the two of them in the same side.

Interesting piece here lamenting City’s defending abilities: ”Forget the romance, a Messi-Guardiola reunion would not make City better”. Apparently Pep has never entered a fifth season at a club as manager before so maybe he really will be gone before Christmas 😉

Well with our **** defence we still managed second place with a 15 point cushion so i am not too concerned about it, as for Pep leaving we will see i think he wont be happy until we win the CL so maybe the challenge will keep him here and if he leaves i will thank him for all he has done for us and welcome the next manager.
