Im thinking off getting the Wherry kit as ive heard great things about this but my only pressure barrel currently is in use...so im guessing i could bottle it up?

I can't see why not, I did a Wherry with some into mini kegs and the rest into bottles. All was good with the bottles

It will, however, there are ways to reduce the amount of sediment, like leaving the brew in the FV a week after fermentation has stopped, this allows the yeast to clean up. The type of yeast also effects how loose the sediment is in the bottle.

Just be careful when you pour, leave the last half inch in the bottle and you should be fine. Or give the bottle a shake at the end and pour the sediment in, it's good for you!

ok thanks will be giving this a crack i think...ive had a friends porter before which had sediement in the bottle so left the bit in the bottom, i would be using the wherry kits yeast so will see what comes of it! Can i bottle it in say magners bottles???

Yep, magners bottles are perfect :thumb:

Brown bottles are best for ale as the keep the light out and stop 'skunking'
