I did this kit just before I went all grain.
I really enjoyed it, it was a nice balanced drink IMO.

Lets us know how it turns out Seer, my local HB shop has stocked the Woodefordes range and I'm itching to do another.

With the Wherry, one of its appeals for me is it slightly sweet taste, I believe I read it was designed to taste that way, can be a bugger for over carbing though

I bottled the Nelson's kit I did.
It did take a long time to clear........persevere with it.

I kegged a nelsons last year - only gave it around four weeks then it got drank at a summer BBQ :D wasn`t clear but i actually prefered it to the wherry as i found the wherry a little sweet after time ;)

Sweet??? I kinda reckon Nelson's Revenge is as sweet if not sweeter than Wherry. :wha:

Perseverance is not a word a thirsty man understands. :drink: :drink:

I've a feeling it won't clear before I've finished the barrel, but patience is something I struggle with at the best of times. :(

However, the taste is certainly there!!

I've tried three Woodfordes kits and all have I been most pleased with. :D

I find it sweeter than the Wherry I did and possibly sweeter than Great Eastern Ale. It's a good one, I'd definately recommend. :thumb:
