Woodfordes Admiral's Reserve 40 pints?

So I picked up a Woodfordes Admiral's Reserve from Wilko's today.
I've heard this WAS a 40 pint kit until a few years ago when it changed to a 32 pint kit.

Would I be ok making this to 40 pints OR should I stick with the instructions & do it to 32 pints ?
Not brewed this before but love the Wherry kit. Just thinking 5.5abv is a little bit high for a session brew.

Anyone brewed this at both 40 & 32 pints?

Stick to it is my opinion. This was the first kit I ever did and it was probably the best one it's tasty.

Yes I would I wouldn't want to alter how it tasted.
