I tend to drop two in a demijohn and leave for 30mins

I have used Milton tablets for many years probably more expensive but you can buy them in most shops if you don't live near a TESCO.

I stick all the small stuff in the FV add about 2 litres of Milton fluid from the washing up bowl mentioned below and swirl it around so it covers every surface i then do the same again 7 minutes later, 15 minutes total contact time and its done, the rest of the stuff goes in the washing up bowl, two tablets to a washing up bowl of water is all that's needed.

These Sterilizing tablets from super market is good idea, as they can be purchased as and when needed.!, Rest of the supplies are bit more specialized.!
