It works out amount of sugar with the juices 1kg for 1 gallon of wine is it ?

There is no set time, let it get to .994 or below then leave it a week for the yeast to clean up after itself before finishing it (clearing etc)

This is an edit i recently added to the original juice wine making thread, its up to you which method you use.

On 18-6-2015 a member (Roddy) decided to give the "allow 1 week for the yeast to clean up after itself" theory a test, his and others findings can be found here - http://www.thehomebrewforum.co.uk/showthread.php?t=54157

You say drop the sugar for every extra carton you use would that be 100g less because cranberry and apple and elderflower from aldI haven't much sugar in them just 3.4g in one and the other is 34 g

Can you do cranberry or pomegranate juice with apple juice instead of white grape juice can't get grape anywhere

You can make wine from any combination of juice, I have found the best are a mix of grape juice and another juice, you might like double cranberry of double raspberry, its all down to personal taste.

Chippy,

The juices I pointed out at don't have preservatives and make 2.5 litres.

What yeast and amount of sugar do you suggest?

Youngs yeast I've got I was going to put 1lt apple and 2 of cranberry and 800g of sugar to make a gallon
