A lot of planning for ditching into water - are they thinking it won’t get licensed for use on land?

From what the guy says it's only got a max flying time of 15 minutes you wouldn't want to be flying too far over water if that's the case, along with the parachute I assume the floats are belt and braces as far as safety goes, if something goes wrong you are not going to glide very far in that.

I think the batteries are underneath each motor, so they will fail one at a time... Strong underwear might be required over water

They said if they become popular the price will drop, the problem for me is with only 15 minutes flight time i cannot see them being bought in numbers that would allow this.
