The bottles are 500 pet plastic , I've been putting sugar in first before putting beer in the bottle

The above works, I just find it more messing about and prefer to keep things as easy/simple as possible.

It went really well for first 3-4 days it was nearly popping the lid off , slowed down now not going to mess going to leave for two weeks maybe more depends on hydro

What did it start at, or if you let me know what you put in and to how many
litres I could have a guess?

It started about 1056 , it's been two weeks today took a reading yesterday it was down to 1010

I am guessing this is bottled now, I think 1056 down 1010 sounds about right.

Yes bottled now , I've even tried one only a week young tastes really good , goin to try leave this one till xmas but it will be gone a long time before that

Congratulations, try to leave it as long as you can resist, I know its a difficult chore, I try to keep a brew on at all times that way I can have several different ales ready to drink.

I use a builders Trug with a 50 watt aquarium heater to create a Bain Marie this works quite well for me, you will need to add a touch of bleach to the bain marie water to stop the water going stagnant.
