Any idea what rating JP, 250mA?Vossy1 said:You might also want to consider fitting an in-line fuse in the PIDS L supply, it don't take a lot to blow them.
Sounds like a brew day is round the corner!Vossy1 said:Just had a look at my control box and I've fitted quick blow fuses in-line, it was covered in dust
Pray tell.. as I need to get some anywayevanvine said:What value is JP?

Nice, I do like those switches. I have gone for a different option for switching.. i'll upload when its done  :hmm:

Sorry Jim missed your question. I'm pretty sure mine should be 12.5ma but they're 12.5A :wha:Just measured the current consumption of one of my PIDs
With the SSR energised it draws 4mA at 240v.
The alarm relays are disabled so their consumption is being ignored.
From this, would a 5mA fuse be reasonable, which will blow at 10mA?
I wish it was. For the moment the V1 Brewery is retired (abstaining since new eve day), personal choice  doesn't mean to say I can't 'tinker' though :PSounds like a brew day is round the corner!

Thanks JP :thumb:Vossy1 said:I'm pretty sure mine should be 12.5ma but they're 12.5A :wha:
Maybe the M's rubbed of, I'll have to look in the 'box of tricks' at some point and check.

solving the same problem.. those will be good, I think..
what sort of switches did you use for 12V DC? I found plenty, but none of them had some good IP rating.. want it to be safe at first :!:
