winters coming you don't need gardening stuff..... chuck it out... :D

kitchen for the mash and sparge, outside for the boil and cool down then ferment in the spare room.

SWMBO doesnt like the smell or take over of the kitchen so only allowed when she is out. however spare room is agreed to be converted into a snug with a bar, second tv and games consoles etc!

I don't have much room ( in a rented first floor flat). Mash and boil in the kitchen on the gas stove.

Ferment in a small shed outside (used to be a outhouse, also has gardening bits in it). No power though, so i use a peltier element to heat and cool, with the 12v DC cable strung across to the bedroom window to the controller.

Bottle condintion in the bottom of the bedroom wardrobe :-)

Kinda works ;-)

I'm lucky, have a large garage but leave both cars on the drive (which is big enough to park the cars and can use either one without having to shift t'other) and attached to the garage is a large workshop, 'The Den', so have loads of workspace and storage space. All the brewing gear and all the fishing gear and associated clobber is out there :thumb:

Every house should have a space known as " man cave" ;)
It's the only place I get any peace! Just need to install wide screen tv,Xbox 360 lazy boy chair and a soundtrack of hammering and nailing sound projecting to house to make them think I'm really busy!

Really need a "jim'll fix chair plumbed into pressure vessel!
Now there's a project! :drink:

Mash Sparge boil and cool on my 70m2 roof terrace, ferment in my passage as its the darkest coolest place - age anywhere. Plus 2 dedicated beer fridges.

Where do you live screamlead? I still brew in my kitchen SWMBO quite likes the smells. I have once lagered some beer in a Viennese cellar....

My 8 x 6 shed....... my heaven, my love, my escape.... :D

Love it BB, do you have her all plumbed in with running water and gas?

V.jelous of screamlead although, presumably it too hot to ferment anything for most of the summer?

I connect the pipe to an outside hot water tap whilst brewing, the copper and HLT are powered by kettle elements..

In the kitchen.

Will move to the garage when I can get a tap and some drainage plumbed in. I have a double garage but never park in it - at the moment its filled with a copper beach that I had chopped down in winter.

At the moment I chuck stuff into a demijohn in the kitchen, but I am planning a mancave of my own.
It's a 10' x 8' shed currently full of "the accoutrements of family life" or as I call it "****"

Soon...

Soon I shall make the journey to the dark side...

Very impressive BB

I wish I had somthing similar. I currently make the wort in the kitchen, ferment in my fermentation cupboard(aka spare room wardrobe) and store finished brews in my inverted cellar (aka the Loft :( )

Thats the way to do it BB, a picture is worth a thousand words. :D
We seem a bit short on brew porn these days :hmm:

BB, did you make that brewing rack/table? That kind of thing would push me towards the shiny even more, and there's potentially room for that in my new shed.
