I have always had an issue with leaving any wort or beer behind when transferring, don't know why I make plenty and drink little but everything goes from boiler to cube everything from cube to fermenter and absolutely everything from fermenter to bottle or keg, but today I have outdone myself having run out of bottles, one short

No, I'm just tight. The last really soupy dregs from the kettle get poured in to a clean 2l pop bottle and left overnight, so I can gently pour off the last 1/2 pint of wort in to my fv
And I have a wedge for bottling day that I stick under the fv so the very last of the beer is in the corner for my Syphon tube to suck up
And the very very last 100ml I can't get, gets swirled about to resuspend the freshest yeast from the trub and gets poured in to a bottle for reusing the yeast in another brew.
 
Tubs of protofloc are a precarious venture! If dog blankets or knitwear isn't readily available at a pinch you can use her coat or bundle of freshly washed tea towels.
