When to harvest hops?

Can someone tell me when the best time to harvest hops is?

I have a cascade and I'm in Devon.

I'd say you may be late as most have already harvested theirs

depends how brown they have gotten really, I don't know a more than that, ie aa% loss or any possible ill effects from being older?

not brown at all - they were started in a pot and then I moved them into proper soil as they were not getting anywhere

only got 140g before drying......... it's a brew at least, will use them all for flavour and aroma addition

Only the first year, had issues with the 'holding up mechanism' (string) breaking - lesson learnt

yes, they weigh alot when up and wet. I use 6mm rope for mine.
