Whats the next step up from kit brewing?

I'm in a similar situation as the OP as I've done 3 beer kits.

I've planning to do Clibit's 5L AG brew using Chinook hops, I've already got the ingredients and I'm waiting on equipment to arrive (scales/large pan). I'm going to carry on with small batch AG recipes if all goes well. I've got the Greg Hughes book and Brewdog's DIYDOG PDF so the options are endless.

However, I'm also going to do Tiny Rebel's, Cwtch beer kit, which wasn't planned but I got quite excited when I saw they were bringing one out. I've only ever had that beer once and I loved it.

While waiting for my 60l fermenter to arrive, I thought I would set my fermenting fridge up and make the mash tun.

As luck would have it, some guy put a recent video up on youtube using the exact same cooler box as I had bought, so I followed the video here:

And ended up with the attached mash tun :)

Pretty pleased with it. Half filled with water (no pre-heat) and it only lost 1c in 110 minutes. RESULT :thumb:

Figured I would also sort out the brew fridge, so set about installing the 60w heater and wiring all to the ink bird.

Not beer currently brewing to taking the opportunity to condition half of each of my last 2 batches, to ensure it holds temp well :)
