Whats the most "orangey" hop variety?

One of the best beers I ever had was a beer called 'Chocwork orange'. It's an orangey old ale. Absolutely delicious.

chocolate stout with tons of amarillo would give you that, I had something like that on tap at the post office vaults in brum once. not bad at all

Only used Amarillo once but you definitely get the orange. A very strong hop. (To me anyway, limited experience so far)

I've got summit in the fridge mainly for its tangerine and orange "bouquet" still to use some though...

I really like first gold but to me it's neither orangey or citrusy

Amarillo is the first that springs to mind but Mandarina Bavaria works beautifully in wheat beers and will definitely give you a load of orangey-flavour and save you a few quid.

You could try Apollo and Galena as well.

I did a pale summer ale last year with Belma hops, turned out a little underbittered but has a definite taste and aroma of orange blossom

the armadillo pale ale I did is a bit orangey....a combination of armadillo and amarillo might be a good bet.

Where did you get the Armadillo from spesh? Every time I try to google them, it just come up with results for amarillo.!

Aha, I've found them. HBC have 2014 harvest. I'll have some of that; do we still have a code for there?
