whats happened to robs prices ?

I don't know the full in's and out's BB.....but I think there has been a reclassification of grains and the VAT they are subject to for the homebrewer.
I thought you'd have been up to the Acorn to see if they could help??

I thought that anything - malt, hops, yeast etc - for the Home Brewing market was a VATable supply...it's the day-job coming out in me, again, sorry - and that you can only obtain supplies at zero-rate if you are a commercial brewer and have a brewer registration number (Rob, I'll be quoting my number at you next time!!!!!)

My understanding is that brewers don't have to pay the VAT but resellers (i.e. home brew shops) do.
