With my surname I could not understand why my wife would not let me call our son Wayne. :whistle:

My surnames Carr :shock: . When my cousins son was born he rang my Dad with the news. When the old feller asked if they had any ideas what to call him.........! Luckily for him that idea was scrapped. I kid you not. Matthew my boy you had a lucky escape.

She was married to Johnnie, who used to swan around in the background looking like something from a P.G. Wodehouse novel. He was usually called on at the end to make some pronouncement or other. His most famous moment was when he commented about the eclairs she had made. He said "I do hope all your eclairs come out looking like Fanny's".
