Saab 9-5 Estate 2.3. 2 kids and camping holidays needs the big car

Why the Saab?..it depreciates like crazy. £32k car list price (doubt anyone actually paid this much), 3 years old 32,000 miles only £8.5k
This has been my car buying logic for a while now, had an Omega before, they were a bargain at 3 years old too.

Feck me Dave - I think we are from the same pod.

I have a Saab 9-5 Aero Estate and my previous car was a ex police Omega MV6 (I had that for 7 years). I bought them for the exact same reasons as you did - big cars and great value on the second hand market. However my tax is due on the Saab and that will be a sore one.

Definitely thinking along the same lines...although my Omega was only a 2.5 V6 not quite as speedy as yours...and I had it...7 years.....and again with the Saab mines the Vector Sport...same engine as yours but smaller turbo. So I'm just like you but a bit slower ;)
That road tax does hurt doesn't it? I think it was £425 last time I taxed mine

60,000 miles in the last 5 years with virtually no problems. :D
Its like my brewing kit,not fancy but it does the job, crude but very effect, bit like me Mrs. S says. ;) :D

P.S. upgrade is planned, trying one of those things that you can land helicopters on the roof tomorrow..............why would you want to do that. :?
