Waited for the inevitable call to say that one of our systems or customers had been heavily impacted by said IT incident today.

Didn't happen. I'm not on-call this weekend.

I'll take that as a big win and I'm very much about to enjoy an IPA.

Drove back from Swan Hill today, went up north for a bit of warmth, great weather but cold nights. Next time I go I will be taking my fishing gear and stopping at Lake Boga full of fish English perch to 2.5 kg Carp, Murray Cod and many other Aussie species.
English perch is one of the best-tasting species there is.

The double reciprocating steam engine used to pump water into the irrigation channels.

What I thought the locals were getting grog from the bottle O in the early hours turned out to be coffee.

Cycled from Bath to Salisbury, 47 miles.
Tomorrow Southampton, about 35 miles then on Friday to Portsmouth 22 miles
I'll want a beer when I get home.

Today (and most of this week) I've been helping setting up a music festival at the museum where I volunteer.

Including issues like this where some numpy drives a vehicle into a marquee.

(Note that's my apprentice holding the damaged marquee leg)
