Funnily enough, most of it was from the wife! She got me started by buying me a kit from my LHBS for my birthday and has been enthusiastically tucking into everything I've produced so far.

But yes, next year I think I'll need to add a new liver to my Christmas wish list

Santa very kindly brought me some books:

Radical Brewing - Randy Mosher
For The Love Of Hops - Stan Hieronymus
Brewing Better Beer - Gordon Strong
IPA - Mitch Steele

Also got some speciality malts for a few of the next planned brews, including some Carafa, Crystal Rye Malt and Biscuit Malt.

Good stuff!

 :D

Coopers english bitter kit.
30 bottle cornucopia apple reisling kit.
St.Peters ruby red kit.

Plus a nice pewter tankard.

Happy days!

Santa brought me

TWO Woodforde's Wherry kits

My wife got me the book For the Love of Hops: The Practical Guide to Aroma, Bitterness and the Culture of Hops by Stan Hieronymus.

Since we're currently living out of suit cases she also got me a Samuel Adams Winter Classics Variety Pack. The chocolate bock is particularly interesting.

"Santa" has been good to me.

Got a stainless steel brew paddle, counter bottle capper, and a hanna digital thermometer. Posted links of the relevant items to my son and daughter in my wish list so got the things I wanted. All from our forum sponsers :thumb: .

I got a 'Homebrew Online' brewkit with a Coopers Dark malt can-thingy. I've just sanitised the FV etc and will be making the stuff this afternoon.

I got it from my missus and my Dad piped up saying that he used to homebrew back when he was in his 20s for a few years before giving it up when he moved house. He is as excited as I am to get going!

Wish us luck on our first homebrew!

Pretty pleased with the contents of Santa's sack this year. I got the Jamil/White Yeast book, so I can stop bugging you all with yeast questions now, and also the steriliser pumping part for the top of my bottling tree.

Well done Santa.

That's an awesome book! I really want a bottling tree, might have to put one on the birthday list!

Santa was really good to me a coopers cerveza and a coopers English bitter, a new FV with tap, bottle tree and a few other brewing things plus a American dad series 7 box set :) something good to watch when brewing.

I was lucky enough to get How To Brew and Brew Your Own from Santa, but SWMBO real pulled it out the bag with a subscription to 52 Beer Week Club!!

Not a thing, didn't get my "Secret Santa" either. :(

She finally arrived  ...gotta say very impressed with the mini size of this compressor...for some reason I just thought it'd be bigger. That was the final piece of kit needed...brew ahoy
