Another day at the pub . Home now and I’ve just put a huge cottage pie in the oven. Pouring myself a Fullers 1845 to start (well, I say to start… ).

Lidl like to advertise this as award winning but I’ve never actually seen it in store before today. You have to avoid smelling it when just poured, even then it’s no more than ok. Not sure the German beer purity law really allows you to make it in France though

Sulphur?

Difficult to say. To me it is only the cheap lager aroma. Whilst I know that I can sense sulphuric smells I have never had that impression from any beer or fermentation.
