I'm on a guest beer now from @Stu's Brews ,this one is a golden ale.
Looks the part and has nice bread/cereal aroma with a little herbal light citrus .
I'm liking the flavour, feels more of a modern English hops possibly blended with something more traditional. Citrus and berry..maybe something like Jester or Harlequin. Probably wrong😂. Enjoying though👍🏻

Glad you're enjoying it - you were half right, it uses East Kent Goldings paired with Centennial for the flavour/aroma additions, along with some Cascade for the bittering addition.

This is the beer that won gold at the Scottish Nationals, the only feedback (which I agreed with) was that it could do with a touch more from the later hop additions.

That's cool..it's a nice beer..cascade definitely gives it a bit of a modern feel without getting to hoppy.👌🏼

Testing my Hoppy Amber. Only 8 days in the keg so not clear enough. Definite old school West Coast hop vibe. Should be decent, I think.

The resinous quality I was after is almost there, but not how I had in my head/tastebuds. Will have to review hops and when they are added in the process
