A brace of stouts. It got the seal of approval from the brother, which is good enough for me.

Evenin' all.
My starter tonight was my bitter blend, CADB.
Her's was a glass of Carrefour's best Beaujolais Villages.
Accompanied the Turkey pie brilliantly.
I followed up with a Kent Gold ale before that.

Still richish, but not so much.
And it has some condition now as it warms, which it didn't before.
There's some sort of dextrin lysis and slow fermentation going on here.
At garage temp. too?
Explains the persistent slight haze though.

Followed up by the '87 Cockburn's and nuts in front of Wolf Hall.
A full flavoured, ripe fruit port.
Just how long can those black cherry flavours last?
Phenomenal.
Bought from Thresher's, Canterbury decades ago for just over a tenner.
Those were the days! 🍻🍷⛪
Night night all😴😴😴

Evening all. I’m tucking into a Liberty Pale Ale clone kindly sent to me by @phildo79. Lovely brew, crystal clear and well carbonated. Big flavour, full bodied and tonnes of a hop flavour I can’t quite put a finger on.
Big beer, big flavour, big on enjoyment. Cheers mate, really loving it!

Cheers, dude. Yeah, was pretty happy with how that turned out. The recipe is in BF, under my name. Pretty sure it was late and dry hopped with cascade. And a small amount too. Unfortunately I can't recall exactly what the original (apparently America's original pale ale) tastes like.

Had a couple of days off the beer after a good Saturday with a sea swim and an hour in a sauna at the beach. The sea as bracing and the waves huge and the sauna was roasting felt that relaxed after I just didn’t bother with a drink so it’s time for a few stouts.

Drinking a HB Dark Mild. Grist was Simpsons Vienna, Weyermann Melanoidin, Warminster Chocolate, and Special W Malt. A tiny bit of Northern Brew hop leftovers, and Nottingham Yeast. 3.3% ABV.
Doing the annual dry Jan/Feb and afraid these will go off in the meantime, so need to drink them while I can!
