It's the average recipie, of all award winning stouts, over the previous 10 years.
Came in, slightly over recipe ABV, after increassed sugar additions.

Was aiming for something like Cromarty's 2022 Anivesary stout. Have kept a bottle of that (wax sealed), and might do the comparison Jan 25, once the Award's aged one year.

We had a rather nice Crémant de Loire (at the kind of price point I’m willing to pay I feel you get much better results with Crémant over Champagne) plus I really like Chenin Blanc.
