Nice brown ale.
Was going to have a Christmas beer but they all seem to be over 9%

You have to love the honesty of Irish people. Met up with @Donegal john to receive My Christmas box. First words " I didn't recognise you with the weight on". Just as well the beers were worth the insult 😁
Merry Christmas big slim 🥳

Tell the truth. I said you’re looking better than normal. Double edged compliment
And your welcome.

I'm having sneaky sample of my first attempt at cider which is surprising bloody good! I named it after the blackbird that watched the apple scratting, waiting to clean up! Only 4 gallons to get through and I've not had a cider in 30 years! At least it is decent to give away! Blackbird's Wing batch used wine yeast whilst the Blackbird's Call was a cider yeast. I'm experimenting with still and sparkling. In the dismal Cumbrian dark, I am now dreaming of warm Cornish holidays of many moons ago! :)
