I did the 1847 version for when Ron came to our homebrew club. A real eye opener on how less is more with those recipes. Did you use WLP028?

Na, my erratic brewing schedule doesn't really mix with liquid yeasts. If I get a chance to brew, I just need to brew which makes starters often impossible. So for this brew, I looked at the expected FG and attenuation and used a mix of CML Firm + House. Finished at 1.021 so not too far off. Can't vouch for the esters obviously.

Just got back from a walk , Pils felt appropriate.and this one hits the spot every time

This is complex with three American hops so I think it needs to be tuned into over time.

After 3 months this Pilsener is in about perfect nick and of course keg
is about to kick.
I fermented this with Novalager cold and initially I thought it was a bit meh
but has definitely improved with time.
Pilsener, Vienna and Munich malt with Northern brewer to bitter and Saaz
later in boil and hopstand.

Haven’t posted much on here if late, but on the topic of glassware, popped to my local recently and was delighted to see they’d put one of my favourites on.
They’ve recently started up with WV, HPA first and now Butty.

Haven’t seen these glasses before…
