Picked up a choice of beers on the way home from my wife’s post grad graduation yesterday. Spoiled for choice with these. Had a few 9.5% stouts in the Kinnegar tap room so might have to go easy at first.

Cheers was a long expensive day but well worth it. Trying to talk her into doing the PHD now but she’s having none of it.
I did all the driving and paid for the hotel (€225 for 1 night b&b ) so these were the trade off

That tap line up in trembling madness looks fantastic. Nothing like that exists here. Most we get is 8-10 taps at best.

Finished the last of this English IPA earlier, Magnum to bitter otherwise all Challenger.
Only a small 10L batch, very tasty I'll do this again. Not dissimilar to Proper job if I flatter myself !

Had one last night with teeling whiskey for the first time and it was very nice
