First attempt at a sort of a Dunkel, wheat, crystal and chocolate malt and EKG, it's quite light and missing something, but not too bad.

Did you use Munich malt as the base malt with the wheat?

First sup of the double dry hopped Pale ale I brewed a few weeks ago....

... that'll do. Easy to drink 4.7% beer. Not too bitter, just how I like it, but leaves a soft orange pith bitterness in the mouth. You have to have another sup!

No piccy, but I took delivery if a maxi skip on Friday which I have started to fill with earth and hardcore dug up from the garden. Seriously, I'm a 50 year old Infrastructure Project Manager; I'm not built for this ****. So, having been at it all day I rebelled at 5pm, downed tools and had an accidental hazy IPA.

I have since put together a new incinerator, which I will be burning garden waste in later while having many more beers because my back hurts!

I'd always thought Zoigl was only available from part-time domestic brewpubs in a remote corner of Germany... found this in local indie bottle shop. No idea if it bears much resemblance to the stuff served in those back garden pubs in Bavaria but it's a very fine lager.
