HB Eisbock at 13.1%. Testing the carbonation levels a few days after re-seeding and bottling with a bottle that had a lot of sediment. I was concerned that removing the ice from the top as opposed to draining from beneath would oxygenate it and make it taste off.... it hasn't. Albeit cloudy now, this is proper German rage juice at its finest. Tastes lovely.

Lots of garden work done fence painted shed painted decking painted and managed to get some planting done runner beans ,peas chillies and onions.

Had a bottle of wine over the course of the day with a bbq so chilling now with a dipa

This is my take on Clemanade, a glass from the last part of the fermenter but yum all the same. Not carbonated yet. Clementine passion fruit, just a hint of salt and sour enough without being too much. Chuffed with this. I think it could have taken more coriander but let’s see after it’s conditioned.

EDIT - ohand I’m glad I didn’t add more Citra dry hop as it’s just there but not too much.

CML Vintage Amber Ale (6.3%)

Basically a strong bitter and I’m loving it, only real issue is it’s as easy to drink as a 3.2% ordinary bitter but almost double the ABV.

There’s quite a lot of rust and it was very mucky. I’ve done my best cleaning it. The plan was to drill a couple of holes in the door and add some taps, but not sure if it’s big enough. Looking forward to using it for more fermenting and bottle storing space though.

NEIPA's are never my first choice of beer. This was a Christmas present and complimented the post brew day late evening sunshine nicely. Enjoyed more than I expected to, if I had another, I'd be tempted to open it!

These are 7.4% but my girls are all working and my wife is happily watching Bridgerton so I’m sitting just outside the shed bar in the still warm sun and it would be rude not to drink it. But I can feel it making the head fuzzy.
