Just finished my first ever keg, mangroves Jacks Pils which was great. Switched over to this Muntons Old English bitter, perfect colour for a bitter, smells and tastes good, kegging is the way forward for me now.

I like saisons for the most part. The problem is they end-up tasting like Fairy washing-up liquid sometimes. Hope yours is better.

Seeing out the weekend in style with this 11.5% Imperial stout from Verdant, Divide by many.
Split with my daughter, who got me a box for christmas.
Rich licorice malt, sweet but bitter with expresso kick - bloomin' lovely !

Nah, all Saisons. Just hoppy without any sweetness. I like them sometimes, but can't drink more than one at a session.

Summer Breeze. This is an American Pale but doesn’t fit the brief for either East or West coast. I’ve been craving a West Coast IPA though so tomorrow I’m going to brew one.

Don't dislike them all, just can be a bit dry and too hoppy. One-sided in taste.

Stout next (just the Belgian Tripel to go). This beer was in the competition and actually scored remarkably well given it wasn’t yet conditioned or even carbonated. It’s had four more days since then so at least has a little carbonation now.

I had to try my Saison after all the talk. Only one week in the bottle but it tastes good. First time using wyeast french saison 3711
